Hello neighbors, our new play equipment at the Forest Edge tot Lot is nearly finished, the construction crew made some adjustments and finishing touches on Saturday morning - and it should be ready for use by Tuesday (Nov 20). With this new equipment, we wanted to remind everyone of the following:
1) Tot lots are intended for use by Forest Edge cluster residents and their guests. 2) Parents are responsible for supervision of children at all times on cluster tot lots. 3) Please take note of all posted signs/ equipment labels for age/ product use recommendations. (The new equipment on Forest Edge is designed for ages 2-12) The manufacturer has provided a binder with additional product design details for the new equipment, which can be made available to residents upon request. Further, they recommend visiting www.playgroundsafety.org for more information on safety. The board is also looking for volunteers to serve on a Tot Lot committee to make upgrades to the Greenmont court tot Lot. Please email boardmembers@forestedgecluster.com if you are interested. Please find tonight's agenda attached! ![]()
The first of two fall leaf collections is scheduled for Monday, November 12--weather permitting. In case of rain, the collection will happen on the next possible day.
Use some time this weekend to clear leaves and tree debris from your private yards. Pile the leaves either on the street in front of your house or on cluster grounds. Landscapers will NOT collect leaves off of your private property. This collection typically generates a lot of dust and mold flying in the air--not the best environment for nice walks or for our cars. Beware! Republic Services will continue to collect yard waste in paper or biodegradable bags each Wednesday through the middle of December. The second and last big collection date is scheduled for late November or early December. Your FECA board will keep you posted. Please join your fellow neighbors tomorrow to help clean up the community!
