It's been brought to the Board's attention that our landscaping company has been blowing debris into yards, which is a concern we would like to stay on top of.
If anyone had similar experiences in the future, please inform the FECA Board. If you can include a photo to help support the complaint this gives us and the supervisor better evidence to address the problem with the crew. This Spring and Summer the Cluster will be undertaking several projects to improve or maintain our Cluster spaces. We are currently working with the vendors to confirm the exact dates for these improvements and will keep everyone posted.
1) Resealing the parking areas. This including filling cracks and painting lines for parking spaces. 2) New play equipment will be installed in the Forest Edge tot lot. 3) Replacing sidewalks and fixing drainage issue on Forest Edge. 4) Replanting several trees between Greenmont Court and Forest Edge. *** As part of the improvements, our vendor will offer personal sidewalk repair at a discounted price for homeowners. Brothers Paving, as a courtesy to the Cluster, will extend their price of $7.50/ sq. ft. to the homeowners interested in having their sidewalks replaced. If interested, please provide your name, address, & phone number to FECA Board Member Cynthia Mostoller via e-mail —> Cynthia.mostoller@gmail.com or at 571-926-8767 The deadline to submit is June 8, 2018 at 5pm. The board will forward the list to the paving contractor and Mr. York of Brothers Paving will contact you directly, meet with you, and give you a quote. If you choose to proceed, payment will be due at the time of quote. Payment is cash or check only, payable directly to Brothers Paving. Work will take place in July, schedule to be determined by Brothers Paving. The board will notify the community when we have a firm date. Please note, there is no obligation. No response is needed if you are not interested. The Board/Cluster Association provides this information for homeowners to decide. *** Please see the notice below from our trash service provider about yard waste.
The weather is getting warmer and the days longer which allows more time for homeowners to work on their lawns, gardening, and tree pruning. Over the last month, our drivers have reported that yard waste is being left behind as it is not set out correctly. This can become confusing and cause frustration with homeowners and the Republic Services HOA team would like to take a moment to remind all homeowners of our yard waste packaging instructions below. For your convenience, I also attached a flyer which can be distributed to homeowners or placed on your community website. All brush and limbs must be less than 6 inches in diameter, cut into 4-foot lengths or less, bundled with rope or twine and cannot exceed 50 pounds Residents must place yard waste out on their scheduled yard waste collection day, from March 1st through December 24th. Grass clippings, leaves and twigs can be placed in biodegradable paper bags, plastic bags, or personal containers marked as ‘YARD WASTE’. Dear Neighbors,
